Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montr al, the game
features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel
storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and

system that allows players to analyze seemingly impossible-to-solve crime
reconstructions in real time. Combining Batman's cowl sensors with the
Batcomputer, players can digitally recreate crimes and study detailed
simulation of the act as it happened.

iPhone 5s vs. iPhone 5

The iPhone 5s has finally been unveiled. Following an intense buildup of pre-announcement hype and leaks, Apple describes its latest flagship iOS device as the "most forwarding-thinking iPhone yet." Wondering how the specs compare to the regular 'ol 5, though? We're glad you asked because we've laid it all out just past the break.

iPhone 5S vs. Galaxy S4 vs. HTC One vs. Lumia 1020

As it turns out, everything that we'd seen from the rumors were true: the iPhone 5s is faster, of course, with a dual-LED flash and the much-vaunted fingerprint scanner on the home button. And yes, it comes in a gold color, which actually looks better in person
compared with the many leaked images we've seen. After all that, however, you would be hard-pressed to distinguish the iPhone 5s from the iPhone 5 — if you are picking one up in "Space Gray" or white, the only visible difference will be the ring around your home button and the slightly larger flash.

Alleged iPhone 5S render shows new home button /Touch ID sensor

The part is actually labeled Home button/Touch ID sensor. All signs, including a report we told you about in the Wall Street Journal, point to that long rumored fingerprint sensor touching down at last inside the Apple iPhone 5S.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Galaxy Note II, what’s new

Samsung yesterday launched the Galaxy Note 3 at its annual pre-IFA press conference in Berlin. The Galaxy Note 3, which represents the third generation in its series of flagship phablet devices, features the latest and greatest hardware specifications that money can buy and Samsung will launch it in India on September 25. Let’s take a look at what exactly has changed in the Galaxy Note 3 from its predecessor, the Galaxy Note II.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs Galaxy Note IITo begin with the exteriors and the design, the Galaxy Note 3 boasts a different design language with a noticeably thinner and even lighter body. The biggest change is the soft textured stitched-leather back instead of a plastic one as seen on most of the other Samsung smartphones. It also comes with a metallic rim around its edge. On comparing it to the predecessor, while the Galaxy Note II did not have much change to offer in terms of the chassis and looks, the notebook-like back texture of Galaxy Note 3 makes it look far more premium and comfortable to hold than the Galaxy Note II.

Microsoft buys Nokia's phone and services division

In case you haven't heard, Microsoft surprised very few people tonight when it announced that it would purchase all relevant mobile-related parts of and license patents from Nokia for about $7.17 billion (€5.44 billion). Much has already been said (and will continue to be said) about the specifics of the deal, but it's interesting to think about how this purchase will effect Google and the numerous manufacturers of Android handsets.

HTC Desire 601 and Desire 300 specifications

HTC Desire 601 and Desire 300 specificationsHTC has unveiled two new mid-range Android smartphones today. Part of the company’s Desire series, the new smartphones are called Desire 601 and Desire 300. Both phones will go on sale in select markets beginning next month.

HTC announces BoomBass Bluetooth subwoofer and Vivid Blue coloured HTC One, One mini

The HTC One can emit the best sound we've heard from a smartphone – but that doesn't mean we don't want to have something that makes it sound even better.
HTC announces BoomBass Bluetooth subwoofer and Vivid Blue coloured HTC One, One miniEnter the HTC BoomBass, a little device that measures 64mm³ but can supercharge the sound coming from your aluminium-shod phone

Talking about HTC BoomBass first, it is a cube-shaped Bluetooth subwoofer, which pairs with your HTC smartphones and gives you extra bass and volume, which would nicely supplement your phone’s BoomSound speakers. The pairing can be done with just a tap using NFC.

BoomBass packs its own 1200 mAh battery, which can last upto 9 hours. HTC has even included a slide-out shelf in BoomBass to put your phone

Galaxy Note III launching with 2.5GB RAM?

Is the fabled 3GB RAM smartphone destined to remain a dream? For all the talk the idea gets, we really haven’t seen anything come of it. There was the theory that the LG G2 might usher in the era of such memory capacity, but we ultimately saw it go the 2GB route, instead. And there was the Ubuntu Edge, which would have packed a hefty 4GB of memory, but that project has already folded. That’s left the Galaxy Note III as the best contender, and with its launch almost certainly occurring this Wednesday, we’ll have the full story on its hardware shortly. In the meantime, a new leak offers a GN3 screenshot, some benchmark info, and the tantalizing detail that the Note III could arrive with 2.5GB of RAM

First, let’s talk about the device screenshot. As you can see below, this particular Note 3 is model SM-N9005, and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with build number JSS15J. Not much else here worth taking notice of.

Turning to the second screenshot, we have a benchmark. Honestly, we’re not going to read into this one too much. Sure there are other devices that have achieved much higher results than this, but it is impossible to judge a handset based on a single benchmark.

Keep in mind that the device could actually have 3GB of RAM, but 512MB might be reserved for something else and therefore not counted. There’s also the possibility that the screenshots and/or alleged specs aren’t correct, so speculation is certainly advised.
Then again, we also suppose that there very well could be physically 3GB present here, but with 512MB somehow reserved and not generally accessible – whatever the case, Samsung should spell it out in full detail in what’s quite literally a matter of hours at this point.

Prototype Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch shown off in pictures

HTC designers arrested for alleged expense fraud and stealing trade secrets

HTC's exiting designers interrogated for expense fraud and stealing trade secrets Reports say HTC chairwoman Cher Wang personally filed a complaint to Taiwan's Investigation Bureau, which has since learned that Chien, Wu and Huang planned to set up a new design company (which is already registered under the Chinese name "Xiaoyu") aimed at the mainland Chinese market, and that they would resign after claiming their mid-year bonuses yesterday. The real beef HTC has here is that it apparently caught Chien secretly downloading files related to the upcoming Sense 6.0 UI design, and then shared them with external contacts via e-mail. The Investigation Bureau refused to comment on whether Sense 6.0 is related to the One Max due later this year.. Their offices were also raided yesterday as part of the investigation.

Pressy Is The Customisable Hardware Button . A Physical Multi-Function Button To Android Devices [VIDEO]

Kickstarter often throws up some intriguing products, particularly of the tech variety, but seldom do we see the kind of buzz and excitement around a start-up project than with Pressy,an Android-targeting peripheral recently launched on the site.  This time around, we’d like to introduce you to Pressy, a cheap Android accessory that turns your headphone jack into a programmable button. While most of the fun with Kickstarter campaigns lies in the fact that you don’t know if the product will achieve full funding, Pressy has decided to steal all the fun away from us by shattering its $40,000 goal. The project raised $60,000 in the first day alone.
